The Transparency Act – Utleiemegleren
The Transparency Act aims to promote business respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, as well as ensure public access to information.
The Transparency Act has two purposes:
1) The main purpose is to promote companies’ respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, in connection with the production of goods and the provision of services.
2) In addition, Norway has introduced requirements for sharing information with the public on how companies address negative impacts.
Utleiemegleren AS, Utleiemegleren Holding AS and Utleiemegleren Forvaltning AS (hereinafter referred to as Utleiemegleren) are subject to the Transparency Act and will work closely with our suppliers and business partners to implement the requirements of the Act within our companies.
To succeed in this important sustainability effort, Utleiemegleren must and will work together with all our suppliers and business partners to establish effective measures and improvements. Utleiemegleren’s strategy is to work long-term and maintain good and open dialogue with all partners. This is essential to succeed across all areas of our sustainability commitment.
We place requirements on our partners and business associates and expect them to respect fundamental standards regarding the environment, social conditions, decent working conditions, as well as ethical business practices with a focus on combating money laundering, financial crime, and corruption.
We have developed our own ethical rules for procurement and supplier selection, a Code of Conduct, as well as ethical guidelines for employees in the workplace, in addition to whistleblowing procedures.
We comply with our duty to provide information and oversight, as well as grant access rights to all our business partners within cleaning services.

Code of Conduct – for the Business Partners of Utleiemegleren
Utleiemegleren’ss business partners, including but not limited to suppliers, business partners, and collaborators, are important contributors to the Utleiemegleren’s’s ability to operate across the entire spectrum of responsible business conduct, in line with our purpose, vision, and values, as well as the Transparency Act’s requirements for aenterprise like ours. Utleiemegleren’s Code of Conduct for Business Partners applies to all individuals and companies that have business relations with Utleiemegleren, regardless of the type of business relationship, type of transactions, or duration. This includes companies of all legal types, ownership structures, and jurisdictions in which they are incorporated. Our goal is to develop relationships with business partners who share similar values as the Rental Broker and conduct business ethically.
We require high integrity from our business partners and include binding and expected standards in our contracts. We also reserve the right to monitor our business partners regarding the obligations and expectations the Rental Broker has toward them.
Obligations for our business partners:
General compliance: Utleiemegleren’s business partners shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations in relation to our business or collaborative relationship.
Bribery and corruption: All our business partners shall adhere to common standards of business ethics, respect all legislation, and not engage in any form of corruption, bribery, fraud, or illegal incentives.
Money laundering: Utleiemegleren is a regulated business operating under strict rules according to anti-money laundering laws. We maintain high integrity and shall comply with all laws and regulations in this area. We do not allow our business partners to tolerate or support money laundering in any form.
Promote equality and prevent discrimination: Equality shall be ensured in employment and recruitment, pay and working conditions, as well as in promotions and development opportunities. Discrimination shall not occur. We require that employees of our business partners are treated with respect and dignity, and that equal opportunities are assessed solely based on individual performance and experience, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, age, nationality, sexual orientation, marital status, or disability. Everyone shall have equal opportunities under equal conditions.
Expected standards for our business partners:
General expectation: We expect our business partners to maintain standards similar to those we uphold, as described below.
Gifts and hospitality: As a general rule, the Rental Broker neither gives nor accepts gifts. Our employees shall not receive gifts valued over NOK 800 without written consent from their immediate supervisor. This is to ensure that employees do not attempt to influence others or be influenced by giving or receiving gifts.
Freedom of association: Our business partners shall respect and support employees’ rights to freedom of association regarding trade unions and similar representative organizations.
Conflict of interest: We expect employees and our business partners to immediately disclose any situation where there is a real, potential, or perceived risk of conflict of interest.
Fair pay and working hours: Business partners are expected to provide employees with fair compensation for their work. Individual compensation shall only vary based on role, performance, and competence. We also expect our business partners to comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding working hours and rest periods.
Environmental impact: Our business partners are expected to operate in compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
Sustainability: The Rental Broker expects our business partners to adopt and promote sustainability principles and comply with applicable laws and regulations related to environmental, social, and governance issues (ESG).
Complaints procedures: Our business partners are expected to have procedures or processes in place to ensure employees’ right to report violations of their rights.
Utleiemegleren has developed its own policies for ethical guidelines, whistleblowing procedures in the workplace, and ethical rules for procurement and supplier selection.
